Aerogroft

Aerogroft

An auto parts store built for 3 million+ products, where every part is matched to the customer's car.

Aerogroft sells car parts online across Estonia. The previous store gave customers no way to match a part to their car: products had only a name and a photo, and there was no search by VIN or plate number, not even a manual car selector. With a range that large, people simply couldn't tell what would fit.

In 12 weeks we designed and built a new store from scratch, made to handle more than three million products. Every part number is filled in automatically with photos, specs, manuals and compatibility data, prices and stock sync every night, and customers find parts by plate number, VIN or a manual car search. Payment, shipping labels and order emails run without manual work, and the team manages the whole store from its own admin.

02The project

Aerogroft auto parts catalogue with detailed product data
01

Millions of parts, filled in automatically

Suppliers send little more than a part number, a price and a short name. Each item is matched against a professional automotive database, which fills in photos, technical specs, PDF manuals, vehicle compatibility, cross-references and alternatives. The category tree builds itself from that data, so 3 million products went into the catalogue without anyone typing them in.

02

Prices and stock, updated every night

Three suppliers are connected via API and FTP. Every night prices and stock levels update automatically, so customers see current data in the morning and the team never has to compare price lists by hand.

03

Search by car, not by part number

Customers enter a plate number or VIN, the data comes in through the Transpordiamet API, and the store identifies the make, model and generation on the spot. The car can also be picked by hand from the database. From then on, the catalogue only shows parts that fit.

Garage with saved cars in the Aerogroft account
04

A garage that remembers your cars

Every car someone searches for is saved to their garage. Even without logging in, it stays in the browser, so returning customers don't have to search again. The account keeps orders, saved products and cars in one place.

Payment and shipping on autopilot

Payment runs through EveryPay with bank links, Visa and Mastercard. Parcels go to Omniva, SmartPost, DPD or Unisend lockers, by courier, or for pickup in Tallinn and Märjamaa. As soon as an order is paid, Shipit24 creates the shipment and the label with the carrier, and the customer gets an order email.

Managing orders and customers in the Aerogroft admin
06

An admin for the whole store

The team manages orders, categories, subcategories and products. Each customer has a profile with their orders, where staff can give a discount or block the account. There are two roles, admin and manager, and a manager only gets the permissions they need.

Fast and ready for search

On desktop the site scores 94 for performance and 100 for SEO in Lighthouse. The interface is ready in Estonian, Russian and English; catalogue data is in Estonian for now, as that's the language the data provider supplies.

Let's turn your idea into a product

Book a free 30-minute call or tell us about your project — you'll get a fixed-price proposal within 2 days.

Questions before we start

  • A website starts from €490, an online store from €990, a web application from €4,990 and a mobile app from €2,990. The final price depends on the scope — after a free call you get a fixed-price proposal within 2 days.

  • A website takes 2–8 weeks, an online store 3–12 weeks, a web app 3–16 weeks and a mobile app 4–16 weeks. AI integration takes 1–8 weeks and design 1–6 weeks. The exact timeline is written into the proposal and the contract.

  • Shopify is the fastest way to start selling, but comes with a monthly fee. WooCommerce has no platform fee and gives more freedom. A custom platform is for unique logic, complex integrations and large catalogues. We'll recommend the right option on the first call.

  • Nothing special. An idea of what you need, a few websites you like and your texts or photos, if you have them. We'll help with the rest.

  • You do. The site, domain and all accounts are registered to you, with full access from day one.

  • The first 60 days of support are free: we fix bugs, make small changes and answer your questions. After that, ongoing support starts from €99 per month, or we work task by task.

  • Yes. We work with clients worldwide and communicate in English, Estonian and Russian. Calls, contracts and invoices are all handled online.
